In writing we have been writing about animals
I saw a cobra in my back yard. It was moving in my backyard and it started to move. I started slowly to move away. It didn't see me look at it. Then I wanted to get away. It didn't attack me.
I am a student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. I am a Year 5 and my teacher is Ms Clifford. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Hello Caleb.
ReplyDeleteCobra's are a pretty amazing animal. They belong to a group called 'reptiles'.You are lucky that the snake didn't bite you.Mind you, you'd probably only feel unwell if it did.
What do you think the snake wanted?.Maybe he wanted to play a game of 'Snakes and Ladders' with you....
Have a great holiday.
Good evening Caleb.
ReplyDeleteI just thought I would check to see if you had added any new posts.
I am looking forward to seeing what you have been doing.
When Samantha and I went to Willowbank we got to feed lots of different animals.Sam enjoyed feeding the eels.My favourite to feed was the emu.It would of been the horse but you weren't allowed to feed her.
Kia ora Caleb i like how you put in a snake that can eat big things, but maybe you can add a little bit more of words.
